The Strobe Security System is a complete wireless security system for your home or office that you can install in only minutes. This system provides you and your family with the same security and peace of mind found in professionally installed security systems but at a fraction of the cost. It guards your home or office using a motion sensor and two other devices that can alert you if a protected window or sliding glass door is opened or broken. The motion detector can detect motion from up to 30 feet away. If not disarmed by the owner using one of the two included remote controls, it will respond with an ear piercing alarm and flashing light. The flashing light is built-in to the top of the motion detector and has a switch on the side that can be used to keep the light on continuously for emergency lighting during a power outage. The glass break sensors will detect the vibration caused from someone attempting to break in through a window. You can adjust its sensitivity, turn it off, or cause the alarm to sound instantly or after a delay. You can also plug a magnetic contact sensor into the side of the glass break sensor to detect the opening of a door or window. This dual level of security is very important in protecting sliding glass doors. A burglar will be detected if he attempts to break the glass or if he attempts to pry the door open. The system includes a wireless, external siren which can be mounted on the outside your home or business. If the motion detector, the glass break sensor, or the magnetic contact detects an intruder it will send a signal (RF) to the external siren that will also respond with an ear piercing siren and flashing light. With siren sounding and lights flashing both inside and outside your home or business, the burglar will be scared off and those in the area will be alerted to the attempted burglary. The system also includes a lightweight remote panic alarm that can be attached to a key chain or worn around the neck. This can be used by an elderly person who has fallen down to get help from neighbors. The complete system includes 1 motion detector with alarm and flashing light, 2 remote controls, 2 glass break sensors and/or magnetic contacts, 1 external siren with alarm and flashing light, 1 panic remote with neck cord, 2 alarm system warning decals, and adjustable mounting brackets and screws for the motion detector and external siren. Total system requires four 9 volt batteries and eight "AA" batteries that are not included.. Additional remotes can be purchased separately: see item RMC318. If you have a very large home or business you can purchase two units to give you twice the components listed above. Please note that although this product can scare off a burglar and alert you and your neighbors to the attempted burglary it does not have an auto dialer that will automatically call the police. Best targeting of a niche market I have seen to date. Am developing a website for the future of my wife and her family. How to protect women children and old folk like me. I work at the largest hospital in downtown Ft. Worth, Tx.  My hours of work are from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.  Downtown in any large city isn't the safest place to be at 1:00 a.m. and when I have to walk from the hospital to the parking garage it can get pretty scary. 
 
One night I rounded the corner to get to the parking garage elevator and a man was standing there harassing a woman.  The woman walked away and he turned to me.  He started acting crazy and for the first time in my life I was frozen with fear.
 
Finally he walked away and I got on the elevator.  As soon as I got home I got on the internet and found your website.  I ordered the little pink Hottie Small Fry stun gun.  Apparently I was still shook up because I ordered the most powerful one that I could easily carry, looks very innocent and packs a whollop. 
 
I now carry it constantly clipped to the outside of my purse.  When I feel uneasy I simply turn it on and hold it.  It looks so much like a pager or a cell phone no one even looks twice at it.  I can't even begin to tell you how much safer I feel!  I am now empowered to handle any situation that should arise without getting hurt or mortally injuring someone else. 
 
I just wanted to thank you for providing me with a weapon that I feel safe and comfortable with.  I have told everyone about your website.  Every woman should own one of these!  I even take it with me when I walk or jog in case I'm confronted by an unfriendly dog!
